By the students, for the students. We want to be relatable, and we want to accurately represent the students of HISD. Anyone can submit – see the sidebar to learn how. Powered by the HISD Student Congress.
Dear HISD is a blog by the students, for the students. We want to be relatable, and we want to accurately represent the students of HISD.
We’re the HISD Student Congress, and we want YOU (the students!) to share your experience within the school system to other students and administrators. We’ve all had our fair share of complaints and compliments about school that we’ve never shared.
That commentary you reduced to a vague Twitter post or a mutter under your breath? Now’s your chance to make something of it! Learn what it means to write a blog post here.
We all need a place to articulate our thoughts. Here, any HISD student (anonymous or identified) can express his/her thoughts and have them addressed by the Student Congress. Your input is an integral part of the Student Congress.
That’s right– we got your back.
Of course! This is part of our non-discriminatory policy, and we encourage any and all students to write. That being said, if you’re the type of person to write a post for Dear HISD, you’d be a great fit for the Congress, and we encourage you to join the Congress. See which committee interests you most and then sign up here.
This blog is created and maintained by the Outreach Committee of the HISD Student Congress. You can contact us here.
